In this ROM Hack, play as Team Rocket! In this Pokemon Fire Red Rocket ROM, steal Pokemon from trainers, plot evil, and be all-around just a bad guy! This ROM was a blast for me. It’s a completely different perspective on the world of Pokemon, and works in line perfectly with the original Fire Red game. The difficulty is a bit higher, and the game mechanics have changed a bit. Therefore, I highly recommend this ROM!
The creator of this Rom hack struck gold with this idea; it’s such a fun way to experience the same game. It also adds so much lore and dimension to the Pokemon world, which you can’t find just playing the regular games. This is one of the most popular ROM hacks out there, and for good reason. It is a polished masterpiece!

- Steal Pokemon: See a trainer with a Pokemon you want? Beat them and take it! They’re probably underutilizing it anyway! Depending on your rank in Team Rocket, will dictate what you can steal, so get ready to start out with some very mediocre Pokemon!
- Morality: Although you play as part of the evil Team Rocket organization, you can still play freely and not do completely evil tasks. The game will reward you for whatever you do, as long as you do it well!
More About the Game
This game was honestly such a blast. I’ve always wanted to experience the darker side of the Pokemon world, and this was perfect for it. It keeps the humor light, while also maintaining an evil feel to give atmosphere to the dark organization of Team Rocket. If you’re a fan of the series, this game will be a refreshing change of pace. Aren’t you tired of playing the good guy and saving the day? You can do that in almost any game, but in this Rom Hack you get to play however you like!
